Yet another tournament with my mum for a chauffeur which meant I had no sleep the previous night due to her snoring! I went to book in but they hadn’t received my entry! Eeeeek!! I had to wait until booking in closed before being offered a vacant place. Talk about last minute. It was calm as a mill pond that day plus my shooting was at top standard so I scored 1224. Kirby have a beautiful ground, the only downfall is that there is 1 toilet! Still I got my 1st MB score of the year and claimed my 1200 FITA Star. Came 4th overall, but I got a medal for the 50m distance. Had quite a hairy ride home as a guy had a blow-out right in front of us on the motorway. That was the first time I’ve ever had to dial 999, but he was ok, just severely shocked with a few bruises.
