Date - 13th January 2008.
Another early start, (you may have guessed I'm not much of a morning person) even though I was booked in for the second session. Anyone who lives in the south-east of England and has travelled to Norwich knows how long it takes to get there. It makes me appreciate motorways no matter how much I dislike them!
I travelled up with my coach, Ron and his wife Carol and son Michael. We dropped Carol off at their daughter's house, she has recently married and had a bubba called Lucy, who by the way, is absolutely gorgeous. We then set off for UEA which was about an hour away.
Now somehow, goodness knows how, we managed to arrive an hour before planned. All three of us had looked at the clock wrong somehow! Anyway, it gave us the advantage of being able to poodle around and get nice and relaxed before shooting. The shoot was well organised and ran smoothly, I was most happy to have a half-way break.
With everything that's happened recently, my stamina and strength are a little below par. Still, I made it to the end quite satisfactorily, so much so in fact that I won the day by about 30 points. Oh and I mustn't forget to say thanks to Shorty (a.k.a. Alex Hay) for popping down and seeing us. Of course, being a student, he didn't come down until well in the afternoon!
